Penetra S SB 921
Definition
Penetra/S Sb 921 is a silane-siloxane based, solvent-containing, hydrophobic, transparent impregnation material that provides water repellent properties to the surface it is applied to.
Areas of Use
• In exterior cladding, Vertical applications
• In less absorbent surfaces such as concrete, marble, granite, slate
• In absorbent surfaces such as brick, colored briquette, gas concrete, travertine
• In all cement-based surfaces, it is used to protect historical artifacts against atmospheric effects
• It is not suitable for use in plaster-based applications
Advantages
• Thanks to its low molecular weight, it penetrates the ground highly
• It provides protection without changing the appearance of exterior cladding and without forming a film layer
• It reduces the negative effects of the atmosphere by making the surfaces of the building elements impermeable
• It is resistant to alkalis and UV rays
• It provides resistance to the freezing-thawing effect since it reduces the water absorption effect on the surfaces it is applied
• It is vapor permeable
